Please see the message below from the clerk to Monk Hesleden Parish Council regarding forthcoming soccer schools run by Brian Honour at the Welfare Park in conjunction with the Parish council:
The Parish Council is keen to encourage youngsters within
the community to access the football facilities at the Welfare Park. To
progress this project, and a long term football development plan for the future, it is intended to engage with young people and their parents/carers by
working with a local resident, Brian Honour, who is a professional, qualified football coach and already works in partnership with all of our local
primary schools. Brian will be delivering a football summer school
in the Park.
It is hoped this initial step will encourage parents and
youngsters to work with ourselves, Brian and Hartlepool United FC to ultimately
see the return of youth teams playing at their Park and going on to success
in local leagues.

Course A - Tuesday 22 July till Friday 25 July
Course B - Tuesday 29 July till Friday 1 August
1.00 pm till 3.00 pm
All aspects of coaching and football skills, competitions and
prizes!
The courses cost £20
each - no daily fee's will be accepted.
All boys and girls aged
between 5-11 are welcome.
Please bring outdoor waterproof
clothing and footwear and a drinks bottle.
