I've received notification from Durham County Council that the Gas Transportation Co Ltd will be carrying out gas works scheduled to begin today on the B1281 from Castle Eden to the C81 Hesleden Road junction.
According to the notice there will be two-way traffic signals in operation from 28 September 2026 until 16 October 2026.
