Planning application for 123 new homes in Blackhall Colliery

Following enquiries we made earlier this month with officers in the planning department at county hall we received an update on progress with the planning application received last year seeking permission to build 123 new homes on land to the south of the B1281 in Blackhall Colliery (please see post dated Monday 20 May 2019 for background details).

The planning case officer has now told us that the planning department is awaiting additional information from the applicant (relating to improved design). Further, if this information is received in time the case officer is hoping to put the applicant’s proposals before the planning committee next month for consideration and decision.
