Pathway repairs confirmed, Hesleden to High Hesleden

Last week I published an article updating on developments with pathway requests in the Blackhall ward area (please see post dated Friday 26 June 2020 for background details).

I have now received confirmation that the damaged pathway on Mickle Hill Road between High Hesleden and Hesleden has been included in the current works programme as detailed in correspondence received below from the Highway Inspection and Maintenance manager at county hall:

Cllr Crute,
I can confirm an inspection of the location identified has confirmed a works order will be raised to excavate and reinstate the footpath. I can’t provide a definitive date for the works at this time but I would anticipate it wold be complete in the next 2-3 months.

I am expecting further updates in due course on repair requests for other locations in and around our villages and I'll publish details as soon as I receive them.
