The estates department at Durham County Council has this afternoon confirmed with me that the proposed sale of Glendale House in Blackhall Colliery has not been completed (see blog dated 1 September 2012 for further details).
The council now intends to place the property back on the open market this week for an initial period of one month.
As I stated in my previous update I have again contacted the relevant sections at county hall, along with the local PCSO and street wardens to request that they continue to monitor the site and building closely and maintain the property to a safe and decent standard until a sale can be agreed.
