I contacted officers in the planning and estate departments at county hall again yesterday to request an update on the proposed sale of the site and buildings (which appears to have stalled) and I will report progress on this site next week.
In the meantime I will ensure that the county council meets its obligations to maintain the property to a safe and secure standard until the site is eventually sold.
