Blackhall miners' memorial plaque to be unveiled next week

We are both delighted to have been able to support the Blackhall Local History Group with its project to erect a memorial plaque in the Welfare Hall to commemorate those men who were accidentally killed or who died as a result of their injuries at Blackhall Colliery.

We are looking forward to unveiling the remembrance plaque at the Welfare Hall next Thursday morning (21 May) and we very much hope that you will be able to come along to support the event, which is due to begin at 10.00am.
