Durham County Council has received a planning application to build a crematorium on land to the North of the former brewery site at Castle Eden (please see our post dated 12 December 2013 for background details).
The application can be viewed on the DCC planning portal by following the links at www.durham.gov.uk and entering the planning application code CE/13/01660/FPA.
We are aware that there were one or two minor clerical errors made when the application was placed on the website (the parish and ward areas somehow became confused, identifying the development as being in the Dawdon ward!) although we understand that this will be put right as soon as possible.
